This introductory course (16 hours) on basic instrumentation will start by providing maintenance and engineering personnel with a review of instrumentation technologies, terminology, symbols needed to work in the field. Understanding P&ID’s and basic wiring techniques will be covered along with how instruments communicate. Students will be exposed to a variety of instrument disciplines including Level, Flow, Pressure, and Temperature.
We currently have Covid-19 guidelines and policies in place including PPE, temperature screening, cleaning procedures and more.
Training will take place at our Customer Center building. Once you arrive, you will need to complete a Self Declaration for External Visitors form and a temperature screening. We are also limiting visitors to common areas, including our café. We will have coffee, breakfast items, and lunch catered delivered to the meeting room.
